  • Completion of a four year program from a licensed School of Tibetan Medicine in the United States or abroad covering the rGyud bZhi and its most prominent commentaries OR
  • Completion of a four year apprentice program covering the rGyud bZhi and commentaries, along with at least one medicinal plant identification expedition and 6-12 month clinical apprenticeship/internship
  • Comply with the ATMA Code of Medical Ethics
  • Listing in our directory of ATMA certified Tibetan Medicine Practitioners
  • Advance notice and discounts to ATMA-sponsored conferences and events
  • Connection with other Tibetan Medicine Practitioners
  • Ability to volunteer on committees, vote in elections and be nominated for Director’s positions
  • Receive information regarding legal issues affecting the practice of Tibetan Medicine

Tibetan Medicine External Therapist and Dietition

$50

  • Completion of a 2 year program from a licensed School of Tibetan Medicine in the United States or abroad of 750 hours covering the appropriate sections of the rGyud bZhi and its most prominent commentaries
  • Listing in our directory of ATMA certified Tibetan Medicine External Therapist  and Dietitions
  • Advance notice and discounts to ATMA-sponsored conferences and events
  • Connection with other Tibetan Medicine Practitioners
  • Ability to volunteer on committees, vote in elections and be nominated for Director’s positions
  • Receive information regarding legal issues affecting the practice of Tibetan Medicine
